Ms. Yang Cao re-joined Bing center as a Senior Research Technician in 2009. Ms. Cao received her Bachelor degree in Medical Science and did several years of clinical work in China. She went to Japan in 1999 and started her research on diabetes in Osaka University. She took part in several projects and coauthored several papers published in Cell Metabolism and in Diabetes to name a few. Later she came to the United States, and in 2004 she joined Dana-Farber, where she did research related to the Notch signaling pathway. Her contribution led to several important findings that were published in EMBO and Gene & Development. In 2006, Ms. Cao joined Bing center, and participate in several projects on WM disease including CD27-CD70 interaction and Gene expression studies. In 2007, Ms. Cao moved to New York and worked on RNA splicing in the department of Cell Biology in Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Now she is back to Dana Farber, Bing Center. She will focus on understanding molecular mechanisms of Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia.
