Karin Anderson has been our new patient coordinator (NPC) for the past one and a half years for the Bing Center for Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia and really enjoys working with WM patients. As a NPC, her duties include scheduling new patient appointments for their first visit to the Institute, collecting medical records and pertinent information for the medical team, and organizing the information to be prepared for case reviews.
Previously, she has been employed at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for almost ten (10) years and has worked for the Jimmy Fund and the Adult Oncology areas of the Institute.
