Dr. Jiang received her PhD degree in 2000 from North Carolina State University, and joined DFCI the same year. Her research has been focused on validation and characterization of the clinically relevant mutant receptor tyrosine kinases, dissecting signaling pathways that contribute to tumorgenesis, as well as biomarker discovery for target anticancer drug development. The following is a list of Dr. Jiang’s major publications:
Jiang J and Griffin JD (2010). Wnt/beta-Catenin Pathway Modulates the Sensitivity of the Mutant FLT3 Receptor Kinase Inhibitors in a GSK-3beta Dependent Manner Genes & Cancer (in press).
Zhang *, Askenazi M*, Jiang J*, Luckey CJ, Griffin JD, and Marto JA (2009). A robust error model for iTRAQ quantification reveals divergent signaling between oncogenic FLT3 mutants in acute myeloid leukemia. Mol Cell Proteomics. Dec 17. [Epub ahead of print].
Jiang J, Greulich H, Janne PA, Sellers WR, Meyerson M, Griffin JD (2005). EGF-Independent Transformation of Ba/F3 Cells with Cancer-Derived EGFR Mutants Induces Gefitinib-Sensitive Cell Cycle Progression. CANCER RESEARCH 65:8968-8974.
Jiang J, Paez JG, Lee JC, Bo R, Stone RM, DeAngelo DJ, Galinsky I, Wolpin BM, Jonasova A, Herman P, Fox EA, Boggon TJ, Eck MJ, Weisberg E, Griffin JD, Gilliland DG, Meyerson M, Sellers WR (2004). Identifying and Characterizing a Novel Activating Mutation of the FLT3 Tyrosine Kinase in AML. BLOOD 104:1855-1858.
